Visit the League-Kempner House's parlor in October and see it prepared for a funeral viewing with talks about all things Victorian funerary. Cover the mirror, and stop the clock! What is a Frozen Charlotte? How long does a woman wear widow's weeds?  What is a Tussie Mussy? These questions and more will be answered in October at the Month of Mourning Exhibit. Presented in partnership with Spooky Galveston.
